Background and Experience
I would like to give everyone more of an idea of who I am, where I come from, and how I ended up where I am today. I am a Florida native (born and raised) mainly from the Volusia County area. After graduating high school from Deland High in 2003, I joined the United States Navy. I was stationed in San Diego CA on an Aircraft Carrier, the Ronald Reagan CVN- 76. After serving 4 years, I was honorably discharged and decided I wanted to attend culinary school. In 2008, I graduated with my Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu of Orlando. After a couple of years in the kitchen I decided to go back to school and work on a second degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Administration. I acquired several certificates and decided to get into Restaurant Management. Throughout my hospitality experience I have acquired skills in Hotel Operations, Fine Dining Steakhouses, and Family Owned and Operated establishments. I've helped open several restaurants and have accrued certifications in the industry such as SERVESAFE, TIP's Certified, and WSET Level II. In between my travels in careers, I was also able to work in the liquor distribution industry. I started this dream of helping and consulting my local community when the Covid-19 pandemic affected the industry tremendously. I want to be able to help my home town during these times that are still affecting our community. In my current position as Beverage Director/ Bartender at a local popular restaurant, I have the flexibility to continue to serve my community while providing my services in surrounding local restaurants seeking my consulting advice. Please allow me to help you achieve your goals of a well rounded successful restaurant and/or bar!
